Oats Idiyappam
Idiyappam is a famous dish in South India. Traditionally it is made with plain rice flour but I wanted to make it with oats to make it healthier. Oats flour is mixed with little rice flour and made as a pliable dough. The dough is then placed in idiyappam maker to make idiyappams. It is then steamed for 5 minutes.

Jackfruit Seed Lemon Dhal
Lemon Dhal is my all time favorite and we generally use varieties of vegetables for this recipe. This time I tried with jackfruit seeds and it turned out be very tasty. Jackfruit seeds are combined with small yellow dhal and cooked with green chili’s and ginger. The dish finally gets a good flavor when we temper them with mustard cumin seeds along with lemon juice.
