Tomorrow is Singapore 51st National Day and
everywhere its red and white. Be it school or shopping mall you can see lots of
people wearing dresses in red and white. Almost all the houses have the
national flag flying near their windows. Being in Singapore for almost 10 +
years I too need to decorate my blogging space with red and white and here
comes my recipe “Strawberry & Orange Rind Cream”
Cream cheese & cooking cream blended with honey, orange rind
& vanilla essence and finally mixed with strawberry chunks gives this yummy
dish which tastes almost like an ice-cream.

Strawberry & Orange Rind Cream
Recipe Cusine – International
| Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking
Time : 8 mins | Serves : 4
Ingredients
Strawberry chopped into cubes of 1
inch – 1 cup
Orange Rind – 1 tblsp
Cream cheese – 227 gms
Cooking cream – 100 gms
Vannilla essence – 4 drops
Honey – 3 tblsp

Measurements
1 tsp = 5ml
1 tblsp – 15 ml
1 cup = 237 ml

Preparation
|
1. Cut
sweet strawberries into 1 inch cube upto 1 cup size.
2. Rind
the skin of oranges by grating it with a grater.
3. Take
cream cheese and transfer it into a container. Add Cooking cream to it and
blend them using a hand blender or cake mixer.
4. Blend
until there are no lumps from cream cheese
5. Add
Vannila essence , honey blend for 30 seconds so that I
will get mixed nicely.
6.Add Orange Rind and mix well.
7. Add
strawberry and mix it nicely with cream using a spatula.
Serve Chill.

Notes:
You can replace strawberries with raspberries.
You can replace honey with sugar if you want this to be too
sweet.
