Last week at my daughter's school we were asked to pack multigrain food for lunch. I wanted to give something which would make more colorful for her to eat. I wanted to try a kichidi with multi grains. I do not want to use the regular Kichidi with sooji rava and hence went ahead with Quinoa, Corn Grits, Broken wheat, Flax seeds,couscous,buck wheat with vegetables. It turned out to be a super hit as she was too excited to see multi-color food !!!!

Here goes the recipe for the mix....
Multigrain Kichidi Mix

Prep Time: 20 mins | Cook time: 20 mins | Serves: 2 adults
Ingredients
Quiona - 1 cup
Corn Grits - 1 cup
Broken Wheat - 1 cup
Couscous - 1 cup
Buckwheat - 2 spoons
Flaxseeds - 2 spoons
Broken Wheat - 1 cup
Couscous - 1 cup
Buckwheat - 2 spoons
Flaxseeds - 2 spoons
Storing Method
- Mix all the ingredients into a bowl and store them in a air tight container.
Notes
- Make sure the measurements are in equal proportions as mentioned above.
- You may add sooji rava, however make sure its in equal proportion 1 cup mentioned above.
- Do not increase the quantity of buck wheat as it would harden the dish and the water quantity needs to be modified.
